Free crochet pattern: nubby dishcloth
Thursday, June 11, 2009 at 9:54PM I know there are a lot of dishcloth patterns out there, but I'm trying to keep things simple since I'm new at writing patterns out. This cloth should be a great scrubber given it's nubby texture. Click here to download the pdf pattern or scroll down...

Happy crocheting! :)
Great pattern. Initially, made it on a whim. Loved it so much, I made one for my mom. Now I can't seem to stop. This is the best dishcloth I have ever made and used. Thanks so much for all you do in crochet!!!
aww thanks Robin!! have a great day! :)
Hello,
I just found my next crochet project! Thank you very much!
Regards.
Hello again,
I'm currently doing this dishcloth now, thanks so much for sharing this pattern. I'm just wondering about the treble(tr) stitch. Is it the basic stitch? What I mean is, has it hasn't been altered in any way? The reason I'm asking is that after the first single crochet in the second row, I've done a basic treble according to instructions and it seems to be stretching to a wide length. Is that normal? Your help is very much appreciated, looking for ward to making this cloth!
Regards.
The treble is the basic stitch, otherwise known as a triple crochet, and hasn't been altered. The trebles will be longer, so when you sc in the next stitch, the tr will sort of pop out. Alternating the tr and sc is what makes the bumpy texture. I'm not sure that answered your question...and sorry it took so long for me to reply!

I am a newly retired 65 y/o who needs to be taught how to do this. I love this pattern. However, all attempts that I have made on my own self-taught mission have failed. Please show me a video or something. I really want to do this. I used to do simple crocheting 20 years ago but I cannot READ the patterns or understand the written ones perhaps.
Thank you,
Lois
I received this cloth as a gift and it's one of my favorites. Thanks so much for the pattern so I can now make more.
