What I ended up making for my sister...

In the end, this is what I made for my sister and her new hubby, Warren, as one of their wedding gifts...

It's essentially a huge granny square, but it worked up pretty quickly because it was made using 2 strands of yarn together with a size Q hook.  I used a boucle yarn, so it's soft and fuzzy!  It almost seemed a funny gift because it was sooooooo hot on their wedding day, we all nearly melted and I was dying to take a shower by the time we were finished with photos! Phew!!

Now that project is done I'd like to come up with another pattern to share, work on more wire jewelry, and should finally get to working on those Care Bears my niece keeps asking for!  She even mentioned it at the gift opening on Sunday...she may only be 4, but she's not gonna let me get away without making her at least one (her first choice is Grumpy)!  Hopefully I'll remember where I put the pattern book....
