Wow. Am I moving in reverse?

I'm getting nowhere on my crocheting.  I thought I still had at least a couple of weeks to make the Care Bear my niece requested for her birthday, but looked at the calender yesterday and realized her birthday is next week!  Oooops.  Well, I got as far as bringing the pattern into the same room as the yarn this morning.  Maybe tomorrow I'll take the yarn out of the bag. LOL Yikes, gotta get moving.  I'm not worried about running out of time, a project this size won't take me that long.  If anything it'll take longer to sew the pieces together than to do the crocheting.  Once that's done, I might try and make some sort of bag/tote/purse for myself.  I've been looking at patterns but haven't found just the right one yet.  Maybe I'll end up making my own pattern.  Who knows.
